This is my favorite coffee shop in Boise, for many reasons.
1. The staff is awesome, always friendly and make you feel welcome.
2. The bagels are the best in Boise. They make them in house and there are many varieties to choose from, along with lots of other specialty dishes, like Croque Monsieurs or various soups.
3. The coffee drinks are fantastic.
4. The ambiance is warm and welcoming.
5. Good wifi to work from. I usually work from home here at least once a week and have never had a connection issue.
Can't recommend this place enough. -

My husband and I had just got done hiking Table Rock and we were STARVING! We were on our way to Tasso and stumbled across Alias. We were so happy that we did!
I ordered the turkey, bacon, cheese and tomato cream cheese, everything bagel and it was DELICIOUS!!!
The prices were pretty affordable and competitive compared to the surrounding sandwich and coffee shops in downtown Boise.
$7.90 for a stacked bagel sandwich! $9 for the bagel sandwich, chips and a medium drink. Not too shabby!
The two girls upfront were super friendly and helpful! :-)
Totally recommend! -

First and foremost we were totally floored by how busy everywhere was to get breakfast on a Sunday morning around 1030. We went to three other places looking our minds being hungry and desiring caffeine.
I had been here once before a liked it and we came to give it a try. It was busy of course but there were tables, the service was fast, friendly, accurate, and the food and coffee was amazing! The environment is lovely and not too loud.
Food selection is great for being a coffee shop, you could have a different bagel and cream cheese combo forever but you might just fall in love with your first! The bagels are delicious and filling. The cream cheeses are incredible.
If you're looking for a breakfast nook, place to read or place to hang with friends this could be your jam! -

In Downtown Boise you will find this magical place. 56th person to review Alias. This is my 449th review.
Ever feel like Pretty woman walking into the store on Rodeo drive, albeit more masculine, it's Boise, you can afford it, they're going to be slightly nicer? Well, that's how I felt walking in... the place is full of nice looking items to appease my belly and my tongue budz.
Alia's is nice in size with ample seating. The noise carries very well which makes this place a good option to work from and has many places to charge your devices and spread out. You get much more than pastries here-- they have many food items including breakfast burritos and quiche.
Speaking of quiche, I ordered the WO-man, which was sausage, and potato. It was super good with just a little too much salt.
The don't have sweet n low-- a deal breaker for me. I ordered some sugar free skinny something or rather and it didn't do it for me. I like Iced American with cream and sweet n low. I suppose I should carry some with me!
The service was okay, nothing special, no suggestive selling at all. I tried to ask questions, but there was lots of "I don't know" and back and forth communication that it was hard to order.
They have newspapers for you to read and some other publications. I saw chess and checkers there, too, so I am sure they have other games, and if not-- bring your own-- Scatagories or Win Lose or Dray anyone? Dani, Yulia, Chanda?
I really liked this place all-in-all and will visit again! OPEN SUNDAY'S! -

So good and nice ambiance. Also I have so much anxiety about ordering coffee at new places because I don't understand the terminology but barista was very helpful and knew what I would like on their menu!
